Do you find that you sometimes have a runny nose when you lash? This is a symptom of Rhinitis - it is the irritation and inflammation of the mucous membranes of your nose. Other symptoms include a stuffy nose, post-nasal drip and sneezing. It can be caused by allergens or irritants. For lash artists, the culprit is our lash adhesive which cures all day long beside us. We risk long term respiratory problems because of the daily exposure to these adhesive fumes. You may already be feeling other symptoms such as sore throat, tight chest, persistent cough or problems breathing. Don't feel it yet? You may start to feel it after working a solid 40 hour work week.
Paper masks do not protect you from inhaling the noxious adhesive fumes and may in fact be more dangerous since cyanoacrylates react with cotton. Paper masks do protect from bacteria and viruses but do not protect you from respiratory problems, throat irritation and long term side effects of inhaling these adhesive fumes all day long.

All masks are size Large - They will fit an adult. Please pinch the wire nose piece to create a seal. Size Medium and Small will fit children so they are not available for purchase on lashbae.ca.
Care:
Mask can be hand washed or machine washed on the delicate cycle. Hang to dry. Replace after 3-6 months of use - depending on level of air pollution. Size fits most adult women and men. This mask has one exhale valve and breathing is easy with use. It will take a day to get used to wearing - just like any mask does.
